Remove any plastic cap covering the stake pocket, loosen the two screws so the steel plate drops down, place the anchor into the pocket at an angle, pull the ring up so the plate catches on the metal rail below, then tighten the screws hand-tight—if the plastic rail cap starts to bow, back off slightly.
